Huge Congratulations, Frankie!🏔️👏
We're incredibly proud to celebrate Paxman Academy's very own Frankie in Year 9, who has successfully completed the challenging Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!
This is an absolutely phenomenal achievement, demonstrating incredible dedication, perseverance, and physical endurance. Taking on Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, all within 12 hours, is no easy feat, and Frankie has tackled them all with incredible spirit!
What an inspiration! Well done, Frankie, on this truly outstanding accomplishment right here in Yorkshire!

🎉 National Writing Day Success! 🎉
We had an amazing time Wednesday as we welcomed author Lisa Wakely to Paxman Academy. She led two fantastic creative writing workshops, and our students were absolutely brilliant! ✍️ Their enthusiasm and engagement were infectious, and it was a joy to see their creativity flowing. A huge thank you to Lisa for inspiring our young writers! 👏

Today we're celebrating VE Day in style! 🎉 Our amazing cadets have come to school in their uniforms, and staff are dressed in fantastic 1940s outfits! We're raising money for a local service charity, so keep an eye out for donation information. Our Inclusive Learning team is also visiting Cheviot Nursing Home to share songs and listen to stories from the residents. 🎶
Throughout the day, you can enjoy 1940s music in the Food Plant and Auditorium (jitterbugging encouraged!). We also have a special library book display, an informative board, a VE Day screening, and other fun activities planned. 📚🎬
Let's remember and celebrate together! #VEDay #vedaycelebration #1940s #cadets #charity #community #history #music #schoolevents #cheviotnursinghome ... See MoreSee Less
